This policy explains which cookies and which local storage the SocialControl App website uses. The inventory below is the real one, verified against the published code.

This website is owned by DIRUA GLOBAL FZCO. This policy informs users about the cookies and similar technologies in use, in line with applicable law.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on a user's device when they visit certain web pages. They are used to recognize the device, remember preferences or gather information about how the site is used.

Which cookies we use

This website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how it is used. That is the only purpose, and it is only switched on if you accept.

• _ga — Google Analytics. Tells one browser from another in order to count unique visitors. Expiry: 400 days.
• _ga_P7JRGEP69R — Google Analytics. Keeps the session state. Expiry: 400 days.

Google declares them with a two-year lifetime, but current browsers cap any cookie at 400 days, which is how long they actually last. Both are first-party cookies, set from this domain, but the data is sent to Google. The tool is operated by Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC, acting as a data processor.

Until you accept, neither cookie is set and no Google script is loaded. If you refuse, or close the notice without deciding, nothing runs.

No advertising pixel or remarketing tool is used: no Meta Pixel, no TikTok Pixel, no Google Ads. No external web fonts either.

Your choice, and how to change it

On your first visit a notice appears with two options of the same size and at the same level: Accept and Reject. Neither is emphasised over the other and both take a single click.

You can change your mind at any time from the «Cookie settings» link in the footer, on any page of the site. Clicking it clears your previous choice and shows the notice again.

If you refuse, the Google cookies are not set and the site works normally: no feature is lost.

Local storage that is used

The site stores one item in your browser's local storage. It is not a cookie and it is never sent to any server:

• sc-lang — stores the language you pick in the EN/ES switcher, so it can be honoured on later visits. It stays until you clear your browser data.
• sc-consent — stores your cookie choice, with its date, so you are not asked again. It stays until you change it from the footer or clear your browser data.
• sc-came-from and sc-no-redirect — stored for the session only, so an automatic language switch can be undone and not repeated. They disappear when you close the tab.

This storage exists to honour a preference you explicitly asked for. You can delete it at any time from your browser settings.

If more are added in future

If advertising, remarketing or any other third-party resource is introduced, this policy will be updated before it goes live, listing every cookie with its name, purpose, owner and expiry.

Managing this in your browser

Regardless of the above, you can configure your browser to block or delete cookies and local storage. Blocking them on this site does not prevent you from browsing: at most, your language choice will stop being remembered.
